Greetings Silver Hawks Fans!I was a little leery when those front office folks told me I needed to find a pair of red shoes for a press conference this morning, but I have to say, it was a nice change of pace.
We just made a big announcement this morning about a new event called the YWCA's Walk a Mile in Her Shoes in which men in our community will walk a mile in a women's red high heeled shows to raise funds and awareness about violence against women.
Now I tried to find some high heels in my size, but no luck! Hopefully I can find some actual heels for the event on April 4th here at the Cove.
I do have to say... Silver Hawks President Joe Kernan looks pretty good in his heels... what do you think?
